It's been a month, we hope everyone is doing well and safe!
Reward Fulfilment
We've completed the reward fulfilment to 3946 backers except:
- 185 backers have not completed their Backerkit's survey.
- Some backers from the regions that the shipping routes are temporarily suspended due to the pandemic (we have emailed each of you personally to assist further).
We believe most of you have received your rewards in August. Some of you haven't received yet, please check the tracking info in the email from BackerKit (check your Spam folder if not in your inbox). The logistics are affected in some countries due to the COVID-19 situation, please understand the delivery will take exceptional longer due to the flights are reduced and operational changes.
Maco Go report + Backers' feedback
At Maco/Three1Design, we carefully test and inspect all of our products before, during and after production. Quality and functionality are our priorities. We work hard with our manufacturer to conduct strict QC in order to ensure our products are well made according to the industry standard. Nevertheless, some defect/faulty units are unavoidable, particularly for our first mass production run.
It has come to our attention that we have received customer feedback about their Maco Go in both positive and negative comments. Thank you for this! Your feedback is very valuable and with your feedback we can improve our products and customer service over time.
Up to date, we have shipped out 5585 Maco Go to backers. The feedback from backers via comments, messages and emails were recorded and compiled into a table & pie-chart below.
For the backers who have reported/contacted us, we have responded to you personally for assistance.
Troubleshooting
For anyone who finds your Maco Go is not charging as expected and yet to contact us, to help us understand what the exact problem is on your device we have set up the following flowchart and scheme so you can troubleshoot some of the most frequently asked questions and problems.

Positive Feedback

Maco Go Compatibility
We have some backers reported in the comment section that their Maco Go(s) don't charge their Apple Watches and get hot. After investigation, we identified it is the incompatibility issue. We would like to sincerely apologise to all of you that Maco Go is not compatible with the Apple Watch First Generation (Series 0). Maco Go is compatible with Apple Watch Series 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. This is our mistake of the miscommunication and inconsistent information listed on our campaign page regarding the compatibility. We take full responsibility to assist the backers who are the First Gen Apple Watch users.
The main reason is that the Apple current software (WatchOS 6) is no longer compatible with the First Generation (Series 0) Apple Watch model. If you are the Apple Watch First Gen users and have the same problem, please contact us via message in Kickstarter or email to [email protected]. We will help you from there.

If you own an Apple Watch Series 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, please do not worry. Maco Go is compatible with the models mentioned.

Maco Pouch & Carabiner
We have backer asked why is the size of Maco Pouch & Carabiner bigger than it needs to fit in the Maco Go and Maco USB Adapter. After several rounds of prototyping and testing, this is the ideal size that not only carry your Maco Go and USB adapter but also other small accessories like AirPods, AirPods Pro, earphones, USB drive and etc.
Furthermore, the regular face mask can fits in the Maco Pouch perfectly. We think it makes the Maco Pouch more useful during the current pandemic. It keeps your face mask clean and easy to carry. With the carabiner, you can hook it to your bag so you will not forget to bring it. Also, the size is pocket friendly too.
